We need final solution

Okay folks, thanks for your time and comments on my thoughts about what I felt after attack on my country. Some of you pointed that we need to do 'something' to improve ourselves and our country. And this something was typically 'reduce corruption', 'remove politician' or even a hoax that we use some section/sub-section 49-0 in our constituent (which is incorrect off course).

I'm a patriotic no less than any of you. What I simply asked is what current status of my country is and why I should feel proud of it. There were no suggestions on that. Bhagat singh, Rajguru are history and were never part of this country. And don't forget Gandhi didn't comment on their death sentence and never went on hunger strike and now he is father of our beloved nation.

Someone talked about unity saying we are together in grief. Why we have to unite only in grief? Why can't we celebrate chhat puja, Ed, Diwali together in hormony? Why can't we teach all citizen our national language, why some of us refuse to say 'vande matram' and so many why's are there to write. Where is our unity when we discriminate against each other and call south Indian friends 'tamil-telgu' or a bungali gives preference to bungali rather than other community. What we do when Raj Thakare, Bal Thakare and their goons roam around the city threshing every hindi-sider as if they are from different country.

Citizens are saying, it's the last time and enough is enough we will not tolerate anything else. If my brain cells working fine I can recall these were our thoughts during

  • Kargil
  • Akshardham Attack
  • Red fort attack
  • Parliament attack
  • Mumbai train blast

…And list goes on.. But here we are.. again giving our expert comments that it's the last time we are tolerating our 'brother/neighbour' and it's their last chance to save their ass from our brave soldiers. They are tired of doing that anyway.. they did it in 1948 which resulted in loss of 2/3rd Kashmir to Pakistan that too after winning war. Or did we won war in real? What simple definition of winning war is, we protected ourselves from invading army and saved our resources. However, India failed citizens of Kashmir; Citizens of India; We lost our 2/3rd territory to Pakistan in 1948. Nevertheless, we had good chance of getting it back every time we fought after 1948 with Pakistan, but we choose not to. We might have won the war in 1971 but does that count as winning? Having 95,000 PoW, we signed Simla-Samjhota and returned every single pak solider and original 2/3rd Kashmir land mass back to Pakistan. It's as if we recognize Pakistan's rule over Kashmir and were returning back what belongs to Pakistan!! W.T.F.!!

We had our last chance during kargil conflict we choose not to use it. Today I had discussion with my friends. They said we are superior to Pakistan in military and neck-to-neck China. I asked them why it took so long for us to capture kargil from Pakistan. Indian air force was weak, they lacked technical expertise. We couldn't fly at so high altitude. Result, we had to buy Sukhoi as emergency so that we can protect us from next Kargil.

I'm not down playing bravery of our armed forces. I'm proud of them. However, what's the use of it? We captured Afzal. Honorable Supreme Court of India convicted him and the apex court had confirmed the death sentence as Afzal was one of the key conspirators. He was supposed to be hanged in October 2006. Where he is now? Enjoying his three course meal at the expense of taxpayers!!!

Some are commenting on my current geographical status. They think I'm less patriot then them and don't deserve to say ill words against India. Why Not? Typical Indian do not like to here anything wrong about their culture. Nagpurian feel proud to say that temperature in their city was 46 degree, while others disagree and hate Nagpur summer. Why Indians don't' want to hear something wrong about their country. If we have faults we should admit it and try to change it. Denying the fact that our system is not working properly, our politicians are corrupt and we need change does not make any thing good.

Yes, we have potentials to become best nation in world. India will be next super power. Yes, we can all achieve this but only if we are together, we are not dishonest; we do our work with sincerity. Developed nation means all citizens have access to healthcare, education and do not have to think about the next meal if it will be available in evening or in evening next week. And for that, with population of 1.2 billion, it will take another lifetime. Don't forget government says 25 % population is below poverty line and poverty line starts above 500Rs per month!! so anyone earning 500 Rs per month is not poor!!! The figure is 356 Rs in rural area. Now imagine how many poor people we have. We have mammoth task in front of us to lift them from poverty. Unless we do this first, I can't be proud of my nation. I will be proud when there won't be any fear of terrorist attack on our soil. I will be proud when everyone gets basic fundamental 'roti-kapada-makan'. I will be proud when we can exercise our fundamental rights provided by constitution of India without fear of MNS, Naxals and like.

What I can do for my nation? I'm willing to do anything for my nation. I can give life, I can take life.

p.s.-> these words are from a frustrated Indian and there is no point in editing.

I have attached a map of India which might not be exact depiction of terror in India. But we can use it roughly to describe how severe condition we are in. Our country is flooded with terrorism both home-grown and foreign funded. Areas marked in Red are where Indian law does not apply – or there is fear of terror strikes every hour of day.

Strategic Assessment of Indian offshore IT and IT Enabled Services Industry

Introduction Outsourcing is a strategic decision taken by firms to achieve competitive advantage whereby products or services are produced more effectively and efficiently by outside suppliers. As par McCarthy & Anagnostou (2004, p. 63), "outsourcing is an agreement in which one company contracts-out a part of their existing internal activity to another company." Offshore business process outsourcing refers to outsourcing to vendors outside the country, predominantly to developing nations to leverage the cost advantage. To remain competitive and focus on core competencies, companies are driving toward offshore outsourcing as it helps free up resources (SCHEIBE, MENNECKE, & ZOBEL, 2006, p. 283) and help higher management focus on core business requirements (Blumberg, 1998). The offshoring provides effective means of reducing cost by outsourcing non-core activites to third party who can provide similar, if not better, services at lower cost. India is the favourite desti...

What insights does the “resource based view” of Strategy add to an understanding of competitive advantage that the “design school” model leaves out?

Competitive Advantage A company is said to be in competitive advantage when it develops or get hold of attribute which helps it to do better than its competitors in terms of higher rate of return on investment. Competitive advantage occurs when firm develops or acquire unique attributes which help it to outperform its competitors. This attributes can be new technology, business process, highly skilled technical resources etc. Resource Based View (RBV) Design school theory of business strategy caters mainly for external environment and leaves out any internal resources. Resource base view (RBV) is used to determine internal resources from within the firm contributing towards greater financial performance (Kearns & Lederer, 2003). The core of the RBV emphasises that organisation to maximise rate of return and financial profitability and form sustainable competitive advantage, should have heterogeneous resources and capabilities. The resources in question should be inimitable an...
